The Rolling Stones have revealed that we can expect a live album containing some of the material found on the recently-released Hackney Diamonds.
The tracks were recorded at New York City’s Racket Club, where the band made a surprise appearance in October to commemorate the new album’s launch. They did a seven song set, including tunes from Hackney Diamonds, and past Stones hits, with Lady Gaga joining them for the live debut of Sweet Sounds Of Heaven. The seven song set will be included on the second disc of the “live edition” of Hackney Diamonds, which will drop Friday January 19.
The band have also unveiled the lyric video for Bite My Head Off, on which Paul McCartney is a guest, and which features footage from the Racket gig.
