Saanich has a new mini sweeper, which will be keeping the bike lanes out there pristine, and you’re being called on to help name it. About 250 submissions were received by the closing date, and there’s now a five-option short list on which you can vote: Curby (I see what someone did there), Lightning McLean, Sweepasaurus Rex, Sweeping Beauty, and Sweep Pea.
You can submit your vote over here until Saturday, and the winner will be revealed on Monday. A Saanich.ca signup is required to participate.
I am sorry to report that Sweepy McSweepface apparently did not make the cut.
