The new Elton John documentary, Never Too Late, drops today on Disney+. Directed by Elton’s husband David Furnish, along with R.J. Cutler, the film looks at Elton’s fifty year-plus career, right up to his final North American show at Dodger Stadium – the site of his legendary sold out 1975 concerts.
The documentary isn’t all sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows: as the Disney+ synopsis says, “Elton takes us back in time to recount the extraordinary highs and heartbreaking lows of his early years and how he overcame adversity, abuse and addiction to become the icon he is today.”
