You know you’ve probably made it when Madame Tussauds in London installs a waxwork replica of you, and Sir Elton John has most certainly made it.
The latest installation at the famed museum is one of the most ambitious designs to date: it shows Elton doing his iconic handstand on a piano. This comes almost 48 years since he was first immortalized there, and not long after the new Disney+ documentary Elton John: Never Too Late dropped.
The new figure is modeled after his appearance at the one day Midsummer Music Festival at Wembley Stadium in 1975, complete with the bejewelled Bob Mackie jumpsuit, flamboyant spectacles, and a piano decked out with 24,000 rhinestones.
