A couple of days ago, longtime Q listeners Gretchen and Tom sent over a package full of treats from the San Juan Islands: coffee, smoked salt, honey infused chocolate, T-shirts, and more – and best of all, a certificate from the Friday Harbor Whale Museum, showing that they had arranged for The Q to adopt J37 Hy’Shqa, a 24 year old female orca. I checked in with Gretchen to express our gratitude.
