In a couple of months, Mumford and Sons will drop their first album in seven years – the followup to 2018’s Delta. Rushmere is their first effort as a trio, after their original banjo player Winston Marshall exited in 2021.
The first single – the title track – sees the band returning to their banjo-flavored roots, following a bit of a foray into so-called “alternative”. The accompanying video below shows fans hearing the music for the first time; the album will drop Friday March 28;
