In November 2020, Legendary Aussie hard rockers AC/DC released its 17th studio album, Power Up. Recorded at Bryan Adams’ downtown Vancouver studio the Warehouse, the Brendan O’Brien-helmed record was engineered by B.C.’s very-own Mike Fraser. It marked the return of singer Brian Johnson, who had been replaced by Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose on the band’s Rock or Bust World Tour due to issues with tinnitus. Drummer Phil Rudd and bassist Cliff Williams also returned for the sessions which were the first the band had recorded after the death of co-founding rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young. The older Young brother received posthumous credits for all of the album’s tracks as they were all never-before released songs that he had written over the years with his brother, band lead guitarist Angus Young.
